Are doctors what ails U.S. healthcare?

My concerns lean toward accepting this as a real issue, especially because I listen to what people get offered in the health system.

There is basically no education, no prevention, no programs other than drug based ones that seem to be replete with failed drugs, lack of ability to interpret lab tests as well as not knowing what lab tests to order, failure to call attention to side effects from drugs, and seeking the highest billable option in a system where what you are offered is from a limited pool of otions under the guise of "standards of care".

And the standards are just too low.
"Two decades worth of U.S. healthcare data analyzed by Dartmouth Medical School at Reuters' request shows that such regional disparities are increasingly creating a nation of health-care haves and have nots."
